That's how
it started
It began after a birthday party in 2009. Vreny
Wilhelm, Irene Achermann, Walter Niederberger and Hansruedi Wälchli decided to
make music together. This is how the Feyrabig Muilörgeler Quartet came about.
We found the right rehearsal location at Walter in Dallenwil. Many rehearsals
followed as well as performances at birthdays, church services and weddings. As
a guest formation, we were able to help organize the 2012 yodel night of the
Echo yodel club from the state broadcaster Beromünster and the Chifonet-Cheerli
anniversary concert from Dallenwil. In 2015 there was a personnel change. Now
Margrit Wälchli complemented the quartet as a melody player. Under the current
name "Dallenwiler Muilörgeler" and with the new outfit, it continued
with great ambition from 2016. A great success was when we were allowed to
perform with the "Mulörgeler von Kriens" and "Churer
Mulörgeler" in the Schlacht restaurant near Sempach or at the Schnoregyge
Fäscht in Aarwangen. In 2018 we presented our first CD. We were also able to
delight the audience with our music at many other, large and small events. We
are a harmonica quartet from the Nidwalden region with our motto
"Zäme
gmüetlich ha" and to convey so much joy in harmonica music. We play
everything: from cultivated entertainment music, lively folk music to hits.
