Cham-Ber Huang -China

Já por várias vezes trouxemos até vós - mais detalhadamente a 22 fevereiro 2011 e 10 outubro 2011 - este talentoso engenheiro chinês, que dedicou a sua vida ao estudo e construção de vários modelos de harmónicas, bem como à sua apresentação como solista deste instrumento. Infelizmente desta vez, não é pelos melhores motivos que voltamos a falar dele. Do nosso amigo Zé Peralta, recebemos esta notícia que com pesar aqui publicamos. Completamos a notícia com algumas das suas obras. É a nossa derradeira homenagem a esse  grande artista:

 Here's a fun vintage demo record for the Hohner Chordomonicas invented by Cham-Ber Huang. Both sides of the record are contained in this video - side one features the Chordomonica I, side two features the Chordomonica II. Performances by Cham-Ber Huang.

This is an extremely rare (working) Hohner Chordomonica ll. This is not a chromatic harmonica. It was designed tor chord playing. (although you can play melodies on it)
The Chordomonica was first sold in the late '60s bur it was discontinued in the early '80s.

Cham-ber Huang in his workshop in 1972, talking about the design and production of his CBH harmonica. The interview was filmed by Chris Morphet on 16mm film and I have restored, digitised and re-edited it into an HD version. The film is copyright.
